Beatsquad is a reggae band from Stockholm, Sweden. With five instrumentalists and three singers, we bring a wicked live experience. The debut album entitled "Natural Vibe" is finally out on the BTSQD Music label, which is owned and maintained by us, the band members. Please support us and buy the album!

As Beatsquad, we've been rehearsing, performing, recording, partying [and fighting], since about -98. Over the years members have left and others have filled their spaces and brought new influences with them. Respect to all former Beatsquaders!

Originally we played a mix of hip hop, funk and soul, but as time passed, and musical influences with it, we grew more and more into a reggae band. This while keeping the special mix of musicians/voices that makes Beatsquad.

In terms of lyrics and attitude, we believe we can get a message across and at the same time let people have a good time and inspire them. But, to make music without substance, whatever the substance might be, is not an option for us.
